Snow Lab Ph.D. Student Carissa Romero wins Writing Award
Carissa Romero was named a winner of the University of Nevada, Reno, Graduate Student Association (GSA) Spring Awards Paper Competition. The award entails $600 that Carissa can use for purchasing equipment for her research. The paper, entitled "The real deal: Willingness-to-pay and satiety expectations are greater for real foods versus their images", was also recently published in Cortex.
